I learned that advice must not be taken the wrong way

It is natural to ask for advice. There is good advice, and there is bad advice. It is important to know the difference. Sometimes advice can be misunderstood or taken the wrong way. I learned a great lesson today. Unfortunately it cost me quite a bit of money, but I learned a lesson nonetheless. It is important to go with your gut feelings and only take advice so far. If you follow your heart you have nobody to blame but yourself. But how can you? Is it possible to regret, after feeling so strongly toward a decision? I believe that it is easier to regret if in fact you do not follow your heart's desires. Next time, I know to be more careful. It is also dumb to sell on the way up, but I think I already knew that :(
