I learned that sometimes it is good to go with your gut feelings, especially if there is not a lot to risk.

Sometimes when you have a good feeling about something it is best to go for it 100%. I was placed in a situation where I had a great feeling and there was not a lot to lose, yet I half committed. Ultimately I made the right decision as it appears that, up to this point, I am going to win anyway. But winning and losing is not always black and white. I appear to be situated between neutral shades of grey. Next time when I have a gut feeling I am going to go all out, well not all out, but a conservative all-out (which in my case is not much of a gamble at all). I may decide to go gamble on a gut feeling and lose. In which case I will contradict myself and realize that maybe the decision I made on December 22nd was a smart one after all.
